ÖJAB (Austrian Young
Workers Movement) is a youth organisation, independent
of any party or religious obligation.
As a non-profit organisation,
ÖJAB offers more
than 4.100
places to stay for
students, pupils, apprentices, young
workers, senior citizens and refugees in 24
ÖJAB-houses in Austria.
At present about 3.600
young people, 500 senior citizens and 55
refugees are staying in 20 student hostels
and youth residences, in three senior
citizens' residences and nursing homes and
in the intercultural hostel ÖJAB-Haus
Greifenstein.
Further working fields
are European educational work and
development co-operation.
