This new ÖJAB
student hostel is under construction at present. Places will
be available from 1. 10. 2010.
The previous
building was a 19th century palace. Only it's stylish front
will be kept. Inside a modern housing structure will be
created, with creative solutions for student's flat sharing
communities.
Rooms available: Accommodation for 215
students, all year round. Double rooms and single rooms,
partly as flat-sharing community. All rooms / flats are
equipped with shower, WC. All rooms with telephone,
internet- and sat-TV-connections. Communal kitchens. Rooms
suitable for disabled people.
Our Trademark: familiar atmosphere with many communal
activities – see Current news (in German language)!
Location: very centrally located in the district St.
Leonhard, with perfect transport connections, opposite to
the public parks "Burggarten" and "Stadtpark".
Schools/universities: University for Music just
around the corner (ca. 100 meter), 7 minutes walking to Main
University and to ReSoWi. 10 minutes walking to the
Technical University.
Public transport: several public busses stopping
directly in front of the student hostel, tram in some
minutes walking distance.
Others: Laundry, soundproofed music practice rooms,
study and seminar room, room for events, table tennis,
fitness and gymnastic room, sauna, 2 bicycle storage
garages. A green courtyard.
