Gamification in School Education
GAMEDUCATE adresses digital transformation and gamification in formal school education. In that context, the project provides teachers in all phases of their professional career (pre- and in-service) with a gamification curriculum, innovative teaching tools, methodologies and a training on how to integrate such methods and tools within a formal teaching context.
Project objectives
- Gaining insights on the current needs and skill gaps regarding innovative teaching methods and digital technology in education in the partner countries in order to assist in localising innovative pedagogical approaches
- Enhancing the professional development of teachers, school leaders and other teaching professionals by providing them with easily adaptable innovative teaching methodologies and pedagogies in the form of a curriculum (9 modules) and a training
- Providing a comprehensive digital toolkit which enables teachers in incorporating digital technology tools into their teaching
- Transferability of the results of GAMEDUCATE to different levels of education such as adult education, different sectors e.g. business and different countries in the EU and globally
